Why is golf so dirty? And we are not talking about sand traps, divots, and mud. Welcome to Bad Thoughts Golf (BTG for short cause ain’t nobody got time for that). We here at BTG are fully grown man/woman-children (hey…potty humor is for everyone!), and we literally take everything the wrong way on the golf course. After so many almost pissing-ourselves laughing moments, we decided to put our Bad Thoughts out there for everyone to join us on our hilariously demented rounds of golf.

Hey there! My name is Michael Villarreal, the creator of Bad Thoughts Golf! My tyrannical website administrator, aka my wife (LOVE YOU), told me I had to write a blog explaining how I came up with the idea for BTG for the new website. So sit down kids and let me tell you a story.

At 38 years young, my wife, best friend, and I were playing a truly terrible round of golf for my birthday. I have always been quick-witted to the point of making trouble for myself. After one of the most beautiful drives I’ve ever hit, I turned to my best friend and said a rather low-brow statement about how my wife's attractiveness to me was highly increased because of my gorgeous shot, paraphrased of course. Without hesitation he said, and I quote, “If that was on a shirt, I would buy it”. As these completely degenerate youths of today would say, I yelled “BET!!" and here we are.

Maybe it was all the Mel Brooks movies, Simpsons, or the birth of memes during my formative years, but getting your mind out of the gutter just does not seem to apply to me or my cohorts. I honestly believe life has so many serious moments, so why not lighten up, try something new, and laugh when you can? Golf is a relatively new adventure for me, and I know four years of playing and practice is not enough to make somebody good, but it sure has been long enough to give me plenty of Bad Thoughts.
